Thoughout his career he has handled a broad array of international commercial disputes, ranging from distribution, IP, competition law and unfair competition disputes to significant regulatory challenges against governments worldwide. In this latter regard he pioneered the use of investor state arbitration and WTO DSP for the protection of IP rights against expropriatory regulatory measures.
