We work with clients to help resolve their commercial disputes, both international and domestic. We do so using methods of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) primarily arbitration and mediation.
Arbitration is a private means of resolving disputes where the parties both agree to select one or more arbitrators to hear the case and render a binding decision and award. It is a flexible and confidential nonjudicial process and allows parties to tailor the procedure to their needs. Arbitration can be faster and more efficient, particularly in International disputes. Among its many advantages, arbitration allows the parties to select arbitrators with particular areas of industry and subject matter expertise.
Peter Nahmias is a trained and accredited international arbitrator. He is Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a member of the panel of various international arbitral tribunals.
ADR Experience
Mediation is a private and confidential process where one or more neutral mediators, facilitate and assist the parties in finding a resolution to their dispute. Mediators do not generally decide on disputes but rather help the parties reach binding agreements that best serve their real needs and interests.

ADR Experience
This is a process where I work with clients who wish to manage internal company conflict more effectively, (existing as well as future conflict). This can either be through one-to-one coaching or by facilitating dialogue with a view to heading off in-company conflict before it materializes into litigation, arbitration or mediation.
Clients demand different things at different times, and as such lawyers acquire the skill sets clients need. This experience can be very useful in helping clients manage disputes. After over 30 years of practice, Peter has acquired significant experience in numerous areas of law and comercial sectors.
